Amy Morris is the ASL Deaf and Hard of Hearing Specialist for Alpine School District and has been since 2013. Prior to teaching she worked as an educational interpreter with Alpine as well.
Amy graduated with a bachelor's degree in Deaf Education from the University of Utah in 2013. She received her associates in ASL interpreting from Salt Lake Community College in 2007 where she soon after certified as an ASL interpreter. Amy grew up in Utah and spent a year and a half living in Taiwan on an eclesiastical mission speaking and signing Mandarin Chinese. Amy also volunteered teaching Deaf and Deaf Blind students in Ghana, West Africa for a summer and hopes to go back someday or see her own students go serve there as well. Amy speaks Spanish and loves the variety of cultures and stories she can learn through this. She is passionate about communication and inclusion of all people, including advocating for rights, equality, and freedom of speech for all groups regardless of disability or beliefs. She is married to another fantastic teacher and has 3 amazing little kids. In addition to teaching she enjoys yoga, plant based cooking, essential oils and sharing wellness with others.

Terri Goff is an itinerant D/HH Listening and Spoken Language teacher for the Alpine School District. Terri covers all schools from Alpine to Orem on the east side of the district. Terri has a bachelor's and master's degree in Communicative Disorders and Deaf Education from Utah State University. Terri has worked at the Illinois and Washington Schools for the Deaf, taught in a self-contained D/HH class in California, and multiple years in elementary education as well. In her tenure with the Alpine School District she has served as a collaborative team leader, 504 coordinator, and LEA. Terri has been married for over 20 years and is a mother of six children. In her free time she enjoys traveling to new places, quilting, and playing all types of games with her family and friends.
