Melissa began her educational career with the Duchesne County School District, where she has dedicated eight years to serving as a Special Education Teacher. She holds a bachelor's degree in Special Education and possesses the skills necessary to meet students at their individual levels and paces. Melissa is also eager to enhance her expertise further, ensuring that Outreach students continue to receive enriching interventions through the Utah Schools for the Deaf and the Blind (USDB).

Melissa enjoys collaborating on projects with her husband and takes pleasure in watching her children play soccer. She has a passion for the outdoors, including activities such as camping and hiking.
