Anjung Putra serves as the main entrance to Universiti Putra Malaysia’s (UPM) Serdang Campus. Strategically located along the main access route from the Serdang–UPM Highway and nearby urban areas, it functions as the primary checkpoint for campus entry and exit, while symbolically representing the welcoming spirit of the university.

Officially inaugurated on 23 October 2003, Anjung Putra features a modern architectural design that incorporates UPM’s corporate identity, including the university’s logo and name prominently displayed. The structure is equipped with a security post, dedicated lanes for vehicles entering and leaving the campus, and landscaped surroundings that reflect a serene and professional environment.

As one of UPM’s iconic landmarks, Anjung Putra embodies the university’s commitment to providing a safe, organized, and hospitable campus atmosphere. It is also a key focal point during official ceremonies, VIP visits, and university-wide events.
