Adrianne John R. Galang completed his Ph.D. training in personality and social psychology at the University of the Philippines Diliman. After having held teaching positions in both UP Diliman and De La Salle University, he pursued a series of postdoctoral fellowships, first at Nanyang Technological University Singapore, and then at Masaryk University in the Czech Republic, before returning to take up a faculty position at UP under its Balik Ph.D. program. He was the recipient of the 2016 Dr. Sybil Eysenck Award for Young Researchers from the International Society for the Study of Individual Differences (ISSID).
AJ mainly works in quantitative psychology, with expertise in psychometrics and behavioral experiment design. His research and publications have ranged over topics such as creativity, risk taking, theoretical psychology, metascience, and personality measurement.
