Guests can escape into the movies like never before, in an experience only Universal could create. In Jurassic World: Escape, they’ll find themselves in a secret genetics lab and must use their wits to solve a serious problem: the Indominus rex has broken free and is headed their way. Or follow Doc Brown’s clues to stop Biff Tannen from sabotaging the space-time continuum and save the past and future in Back to the Future: OUTATIME. It’s up to our guests and their skill to save the day.
Universal’s Great Movie Escape
Concepted and designed by the same creative masterminds responsible for the wildly immersive haunts of Halloween Horror Nights, Universal’s Great Movie Escape brings two distinct and extraordinary escape adventures to the heart of Universal CityWalk. Through interactive state-of-the-art missions, captivating storytelling and intricately detailed sets, guests are swept into the dinosaur perils of “Jurassic World” or the time-traveling chaos of “Back to the Future” as they solve their way through a multi-sensory experience like no other.

Jurassic World: Escape
Guests will enter a secret lab on Isla Nublar and use their wits to solve a serious problem: the Indominus rex has broken free and is headed their way. They’ll need to be the cleverest species on the island if they’re going to survive this challenge.
Back to the Future: OUTATIME
Great Scott—Biff’s at it again! He’s stolen Doc Brown’s newest time travel device and plans to sabotage the timeline. Following Doc’s clues, guests find a prototype device, track down Biff, and save the day. They’ve never experienced anything like this in the past, present or future.
Both experiences are comprised of 8 scenes designed to last an hour in total, and the level of difficulty in each scene will adjust based on the group’s performance with guests in unique roles in the mission to complete the experience.
Groups will move through the experience in a linear fashion (vs non-linear in most competitive products), moving through different scenes at a speed pre-determined and monitored by the interactive mechanism to avoid mixing with the prior or following groups. Groups who solve their challenges quickly will be presented with additional ones until it’s time to move along. Conversely, groups who take too long to solve their challenges will receive hints by the narrator to help them solve if it’s time to move along.
Inspired by the 1950’s era, guests play their way through two elaborate themed 18-hole courses that capture all the fun of vintage horror flicks and “little green men” science fiction films. Guest can choose from two courses; The Haunting of Ghostly Greens or Invaders from Planet Putt
