Universal Orlando has made some changes to its iconic roller coaster, Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit. The ride, known for allowing riders to choose their own soundtrack, has significantly reduced its song options.
Previously boasting a playlist of 30 songs across six genres, riders now have a more streamlined selection of just six songs, one per genre. While this might disappoint some music lovers, it simplifies the process for those looking for a quick and thrilling ride.
Classic Rock / Metal: “Welcome to the Black Parade” by My Chemical Romance
Rap / Hip-Hop: “HUMBLE.” by Kendrick Lamar
Club / Electronica: “Sandstorm” by Darude
Pop / Disco: “Waterloo” by ABBA
Country: “Man! I Feel Like a Woman!” By Shania Twain
But the real fun lies in discovering the hidden tracks. With a bit of quick thinking and nimble fingers, riders can access a secret playlist of songs that span various genres. Use the drop-down menu to see a list of song on the secret menu list. To unlock this hidden gem, simply:
Hold the Rockit logo: When seated, press and hold the Rockit logo on the lap bar for 5-10 seconds.
Enter the code: A number keypad will appear. Quickly input the desired three-digit code from the list below.
Note: Selecting a secret song will prevent you from recording a ride video.
