Congratulations on Passing your State License Exam!

Step 1

Once all Salespersons License Requirements have been met to obtain your Real Estate License, Schedule a meeting with Chris Gailey, our Supervising Managing Broker to assist you with the process of applying for your real estate salesperson's license.

For Kansas License

Please bring the following paperwork to the meeting.

• Education Certificate from the “Principles of Real Estate” course
• Two forms given to you when you pass the two sections of the State Exam
• Copy of your “Practice Course” certificate
• If not already completed, submit your KBI/FBI criminal background check with the $15 application fee and the $125 license fee (payable to KREC).

For Missouri License

Please bring the following paperwork with you to the meeting.

• The passing score report you receive from the exam site is your application for license. Your exam score and photo will be pre-printed on the document. Follow the detailed instructions on the second page or if applicable, the Nonresident Licensing Requirements, so that your application and attachments are complete.
• Check for your license Fee payable to the Missouri Real Estate Commission in the amount of $100.00

Note: We will overnight your application package to Missouri Real Estate Commission, 3605 Missouri Boulevard, Jefferson City, MO 65109 and include a self addressed envelope to return your work permit to us.

It usually takes a few days and up to 2 weeks to receive the temporary work permit. When we do receive the Temporary Work permit you can officially start doing business. While waiting on your license to arrive, we suggest a few pre-license activities you can get started on. You can find that list HERE

If you are in a hurry to receive your temporary license, you are also able to deliver your paperwork to Jefferson City by hand and return home with the temporary work permit.

STEP 2

Please Complete the Online New Agent Information Form

Once we have received your work permit or verification of license and you have submitted the New Agent Information Form, we will begin setting up your On-boarding Package which includes; A Welcome Letter with your United Tools and Systems login and passwords, the United Real Estate Johnson County Independent Contractor Agreement, Direct Deposit Form, W-9 Request for Taxpayer Identification Number and Certification, KCRAR and Heartland MLS Membership Forms and the Do Not Call Registry Acknowledgement The forms will be sent to you via DocuSign, to complete, acknowledge and sign. Once we have received your completed On-Boarding Package, We'll place an order your United Business Package, our gift to you which includes 500 Business Cards, Name riders.

STEP 3

Once you have completed the On-boarding Package, please immediately schedule your Office Orientation Meeting with your Office Manager. Please Arrive at Your Scheduled Meeting On Time. The Orientation Process will take approximately 3 hours. You will need to bring your Laptop to save important bookmarks and follow along.
