Scientific interests

I'm post-doc researcher at the Physics Department of the University of Milano-Bicocca and I'm part of the B MASSIVE group.

My scientific interests mainly concern the formation, evolution and observational signatures of massive black hole binaries and triplets, with particular focus on the modelisation of the interaction between these objects and the galactic environment in which they reside. My research leverages on both numerical simulations and analytical (or semi-analytical) prescriptions, involving different kind of expertise belonging to Newtonian dynamics. stellar dynamics and general relativity.

Generally, I am also interested in the characterization of gravitational waves signal from all kind of compact binary systems, like massive black holes, EMRI-IMRI and stellar mass compact objects, observable by current and future experiments like Pulsar Timing Array campaigns, LISA, ET and LIGO/Virgo.
