Nasrul ZA, MT, the advisor for the Renewable Energy Team 1, stated that Unimal sent two teams. Team 1, comprising Nanda, Novitasari, and Ayu Adinda Putri Br Ginting, won 3rd place with their work titled "Conversion of Renewable Wave Energy to Green Hydrogen and Green Ammonia in the Era of Society 5.0."
The Environmental Team 2, consisting of Nashrun Habib Tahihoran and Gebrina Rizki, won 2nd place in the Innovative Idea category with their project titled "Using Drone Sensors with Internet of Things for Optimizing Air Filtration Around Steam Power Plants," under the guidance of Agam Muarif, MT.
Dr. Muhammad Daud, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, emphasized that both teams showcased creative innovations appreciated by the judges. He credited the success to the intensive guidance and support from the faculty and staff. Dr. Lukman Hakim, Head of the Chemical Engineering Department, expressed pride in the students' achievements and committed to continuing support for student innovation. Dr. Rozanna Dewi, Head of the Chemical Engineering Study Program, highlighted that intensive guidance and teamwork were key to their success. She hoped this achievement would motivate other students to excel in national and international competitions.
