Studies conducted by LTTA have shown that fermented papaya with probiotics exhibits antioxidant activity and strengthens the immune system, confirming the nutraceutical value of this plant. The results obtained (soon to be patented) have led to the production of the dietary supplement Papaya Fermentata by La Farmacia delle Erbe.
