Biosafety Level 3 (BSL3) Laboratory Now Operational for COVID-19 Studies

From September 1, 2020, the University of Ferrara will make available the level 3 biosafety laboratory (BSL3) for studies on COVID-19. The laboratory provides services for the determination of the antiviral activity of biological or chemical compounds, the determination of the presence of SARS-CoV-2 RNA in biological and environmental samples, the execution and design of research protocols.
