This section provides a personalized list of risk factors unique to your department. You can review this list and identify any additional risks that may not have been included. If you come across any such risks, this section guides you on how to submit a request to add them to the list using the myRisk application.
As a first step in the enterprise risk management process, you must review the customized list of identified risks of risk from component, risk area, and risk factor. Subsequently, you must also identify any additional risks after a situation analysis and consider the local context to reflect emerging and changing risks. The Risk Catalogue contains the complete list of all the risk factors by components, sub-components, risk area, probable causes and control assignments. The risk categories identified in the Integrated Risk Framework (IRF) are also listed in the Catalogue. Detailed guidance on how to navigate the risk catalog is provided.
The risk factors can be identified in the application as follows.
The risk factors are organised into different components - sub-components - risk areas. For example, "The risk of not being able to meet established funding targets" is under the (1) Strategic component - (2) Business Unit level sub-component - and (3) Donor Relationship Management risk area.
Either send an email to the ERM secretariat to remove this risk factor from your BU list; OR
You can do so during the risk assessment by selecting 0 for the Likelihood/Probability and 0 for the Impact. Then this risk factor will become not applicable to your Department.
Please send an email to ERM Secretariat by giving justification for adding this risk factor in your business unit or by requesting to add a risk factor in the application. Do not request this risk factor using the application.
Follow the link highlighted to request adding a risk factor by going to the relevant risk area and requesting the addition of the risk factor. The request should include the name of the new risk factor, a justification for its addition, and the probable causes that need to be included with the new risk factor.
