This sub-section covers the process of submitting risk assessments and proposed response designs for validation by the respective risk committees.
Once the risk assessment is completed and the risk response design is proposed, the next step is to submit it to the risk committees for validation through the respective focal points and secretariat.
Heads of units must submit the risk assessment with selected risk response options and the system will automatically route this assessment to the focal point and the respective committee.
Draft risk “assessment not complete”. This is the initial stage during which users will enter their responses in the application and assessing the risks.
2. Once the risk assessment for all risk factors is complete, the drop-down menu on the top right side of the dashboard will change to the “Assessment complete” and “Submit for validation” stages. Users can continue refining the assessment during this stage or click “ Submit for Validation”.
3. Upon selecting the option “Submit for validation” , the system will prompt you to upload the supporting documentation of the Risk Assessment by clicking the “Choose File" option.
4. After uploading the attachment – SIS/myRisk application will show the name of the uploaded attachment and will prompt you to “tick mark” the Acknowledgement Statement. Upon ticking the acknowledgement, the new button “Submit for Validation" will appear as below.
5. Upon clicking the “Submit for Validation” button, the main screen will appear as below. The previous “draft” stage will move to “Pending Validation” and you will not be able to make any changes.
6. Once the Assessment has been submitted, an automatic notification will be sent to the designated myRisk application approver at the Regional Office or Headquarters and the ERM Secretariat.
