The IM CCM Fellowship Program is an ACGME-accredited program (ACGME ID 1422614001). While a two-year option is available, this program is primarily a one-year pathway for trainees who have completed prior ACGME-accredited fellowship training in another IM two- or three- year fellowship (e.g., GI, Cardiology, etc.). Mission Statements

Internal Medicine Critical Care Fellowship Program

It is the mission of the IM CCM fellowship is to provide excellent training in the practice and science of critical care illness through immersion in patient care, with emphasis on critical reasoning, scholarship, professional responsibility; and to promote personal and professional satisfaction. We strive to educate physicians who provide high quality, humane care to the critically ill patient. Furthermore, the IM CCM fellowship training program strives to be recognized locally, regionally, and nationally as a center of excellence in education, research, and patient care and to provide an environment conducive to, and focused on, academic creativity, productivity, and excellence.

Medical School

The UMN Medical School is committed to graduate medical education, which emphasizes education and training of physicians to meet the healthcare needs of our region, advancement of knowledge and leadership in the biomedical sciences and in academic medicine.
