University of Minnesota Medical Center

All fellows will rotate primarily at the University of Minnesota East Bank Campus. Core rotations will include experiences on several intensive care teams to meet the ACMGE requirements in terms of breadth of patients and faculty expertise exposure. Required rotations include medical ICU, cardiac ICU, cardiothoracic ICU, neurocritical ICU, and the Surgical ICU. These rotations will expose trainees to a variety of patient populations and conditions needed for adequate training in critical care. Night coverage will also take place at this site.  All time in the ICU and procedural learning will be with direct supervision of a faculty intensivist.
