The Academic Honor and Professional Society in gerontology promotes scholarships, research, professionalism, and excellence in gerontology and aging services, and recognizes high attainment in the pursuit of academic and clinical excellence in these areas.

Black SPH Student Group provides support, resources, and community for Black students in SPH. This group creates a safe space for students to share experiences and ideas related to the academic experience. GHSAB is an interprofessional global health student group. This Health Science graduate and professional student committee works to educate and mobilize the next generation of socially responsible global health professionals.

The Public Health Review is a graduate student led, online, peer-reviewed, open-access public health journal that is published by the UofM Libraries. Public Health review strives to make health equity possible for everyone in every community by providing a platform for the discovery, development and dissemination of information regarding public health issues.
Becoming involved will give students the opportunity to publish public health related material in a peer-reviewed journal. Students will gain a deeper understanding of health equity and work to dismantle systems of oppression.

PHASA empowers students to improve public health through policy and advocacy. Students work in collaboration with one another to discuss public health issues and advocate for the changes they wish to make.
