Hello! My name is Fatimah Abadi, and I am a senior at the University of Michigan in Dearborn. I am majoring in elementary education, grades K-3 and 3-6, and hope to begin by teaching 3rd or 4th grade.

In the portfolio, you’ll be able to learn more about me, including an Autobiography, as well as what kind of teacher I aspire to be. The goal of this portfolio is to introduce my journey to the viewers, and we will begin with my autobiography on the next tab after the welcome page. After my autobiography you will be introduced to my teaching philosophy, which Will introduce you to my passion and excitement about becoming a teacher.

The last tab will be my teaching framework, or coursework and artifacts. I will introduce lessons that I enjoyed doing throughout my time at the University of Michigan, and lessons that have helped me grow as a learner. Most of these lessons will be lessons coming from my EDT 317 class, otherwise known as “Learning technology in content areas.”, as well as my EDD 449 Class known as “Teaching English as a second language”.
