 Week 2: ELA Lesson plan- 4th grade

For this specific assignment, it was my first lesson plan of the semester, which I did with my fourth grade students. I created an ELA lesson plan which will help them focus on comprehension skills, and the ability to retell a story.

This falls under domain 1 since I was planning and preparing this lesson plans to meet the needs of each student in the classroom. After several weeks of observing the class and their abilities when it comes to ELA, it was shown that they needed a little bit help of comprehension, so I took it upon myself to do an ELA lesson plan for the first lesson. The students were excited during this lesson and were able to learn new tricks when it comes to comprehension.

The specific artifact gave me a chance to interact with the students, as well as plan and prepare. I learned many new things as a growing teacher, and i hope this will help you learn.
