As UKMT no longer hosts online Competitions, the only time you will need online logins is to allow Olympiad students to log in and view their scripts and markers' comments.
Your Results Spreadsheet
The easiest way to find your student's logins for an Olympiad is on your Results Spreadsheet.
If you log in to your Competition Profile, go to 'Results and Certificates' on the left-hand side, you can then click on the name of the Olympiad you are searching for.
From here, you can download a spreadsheet of your student's results, which shows the student's username and password.
The students can use these details to log in here and see their Olympiad feedback: https://challenges.ukmt.org.uk/
For an alternative way to find your student's usernames and passwords, please see below:
Step 1 - Sourcing the logins
You can find your students' online logins via the 'Students' menu option from your Competition Profile.
Step 2 - Filtering and downloading the logins
You may see previous Olympiad logins listed here so it is important that you use the filter feature to ensure you download the correct logins.
Using MOG as an example to the right. To filter, type in the first 3 letters of the Olympiad into the 'Username' box. This will automatically filter out your logins (example to the right).
The 3 letters you should filter with are listed below:
Mathematical Olympiad for Girls = mog
Senior Mathematical Challenge = smc
Andrew Jobbings Senior Kangaroo = ska
British Mathematical Olympiad Round 1 = bmo1
British Mathematical Olympiad Round 2 = bmo2
Intermediate Mathematical Challenge = imc
Grey Kangaroo = gka
Pink Kangaroo - pka
Cayley Mathematical Olympiad = cay
Hamilton Mathematical Olympiad = ham
Maclaurin Mathematical Olympiad = mac
Junior Mathematical Challenge - jmc
Junior Kangaroo = jka
Junior Mathematical Olympiad = jmo
Once you have filtered, you can download your students' logins by pressing the 'Export CSV' button. This will download your logins into a spreadsheet for you.
The spreadsheet will contain usernames and passwords. Please make sure you expand all columns to see the whole username and password. Please ignore the columns labelled ‘Class’ and ‘Grade’, this is for internal use only.
Step 3 - Handing out your students' logins
We highly recommend handing out your students' logins individually, as this avoids students having access to each others logins.
