Pembiayaan Yuran Prosiding Berindeks (PYPB)

1. Applications can only be submitted by permanent or contract academic staff with active status and who are the sole corresponding author of the indexed proceedings. 

2. Applicants must verify the indexing status of the proceedings in Journal Citation Reports (JCR), Web of Science (WoS), or Scopus through the following links:  https://mjl.clarivate.com/search-results and https://www.elsevier.com/solutions/scopus/how-scopus-works/content respectively, and must not be associated with predatory publishing practices. (Refer to the PTAR Guidelines on Predatory Publishers and Beall’s List). 3. Proceedings considered for PYPB must not be funded by any other sources. Applicants with active and available research grants must fully utilize the remaining funds before submitting an application. The PYPB applicants are prohibited from making repeated claims within the PTJ. 

4. Applicants are not eligible to apply for PYPB if the acknowledgement/funding section of the proceedings cites a research grant that is unrelated to the content of the article. 

5. The maximum publication fee covered is ≤ RM1,500 per proceeding. Payment is based on a reimbursement (claim) system. Applicants are allowed to apply more than once. 

6. The payment covers only the publication fee for proceedings. Other charges, such as conference registration fees or proofreading services, are not covered under PYPB. 

7. Applicants must complete the PYPB application form (RMC/UEP/1/1/2023) and submit the following supporting documents which have been reviewed and verified by PTJ: 

• Original expense receipts. 

• Proof of proceedings publication acceptance (Acceptance Letter) from the conference organizer. 

• Bank statement / proof of payment transaction in the applicant’s name. 

• Original invoice issued by the applicant’s name. 

• Proof of contribution (minimum RM30.00 for at least six months) to the Dana Kecemerlangan Pendidikan (DKP) by the applicant. 

• Proceedings that have been published, indexed in Scopus/WoS and verified by PTAR in the PRIMe system must be displayed in the applicant’s UiTM Expert profile. 

8. The completed application form that is verified by PTJ must be submitted through the PYPB Submission System.  (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfESt4O7Ibt_4H6jP4orc_DjVO3r_906nMmRt0CNJ9Awl-QHQ/viewform) for the payment process. 

9. The article processing fee is a charge imposed before the acceptance decision of a proceeding is not covered by RMC, UiTM.
