LEGO is a great way to engage students in STEAM-related learning - it's low-tech, it's scalable across age and grade levels, and it's highly flexible to support exploration of different interests and curriculum areas.

This year, TJRC is engaging the UGDSB community in a LEGO Challenge. Each week, the team will post a different theme to our social media (i.e., build a version of your "happy place").

Educators or students who build a LEGO creation according to the theme and submit a photo of it to terryjames.library@ugdsb.on.ca will be entered in a draw to win a free LEGO set for their classroom. (Student submissions should be sent in by the teacher on the student's behalf.)
