Ph.D. Candidate

Hello! My name is Sofia Capece. I am currently a 4th year PhD Candidate in the Papoutsakis Lab. My research centers on genetic engineering of Clostridia species with the goal of carbon-neutral chemical production.

Before coming to UD, I completed my Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering at Penn State University in University Park, PA.
