Ph.D. Candidate
I am a fifth year Ph.D. student co-advised by Professor Papoutsakis and Professor Ierapetritou. My research is centered on characterizing Chinese Hamster Ovary (CHO) cell metabolism in perfusion culture to advance continuous monoclonal antibody production processes. Combining experiments designed for high-throughput data generation with metabolic modeling, we seek to probe CHO cell physiology to gain insight about metabolic objectives, nutrient demands, and subpopulation distributions as functions of perfusion process parameters.
Prior to joining the University of Delaware, I completed my B.S. in chemical engineering at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
