Bioprocess development with limited data: model reduction and targeted experimentation
I am a third-year PhD student working to develop and optimize bioprocesses by addressing the challenges of limited dataset. Current approaches relying on Design of Experiments (DoE) require time-consuming and costly experimentation to identify optimal conditions. I am developing a novel modeling-based framework to strategically guide experimental design using predictive models tailored to existing small data sets. I am utilizing the in-house developed cost- and effort-effective pseudo-perfusion experimental framework to generate data for model training and validation purposes.
I completed my Bachelors in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur, India. Thereafter, I worked for a metals and manufacturing company in India for around 2 years.
I love running on weekends and exploring natural places especially road trips. If at home on weekend, you would find me either cooking or thinking about cooking.
