Office hours are an opportunity for students to get additional support with the material. This can include
A chance to work one-on-one with a student
A place to go deeper into a particular topic, or finish explaining something you didn't get to during discussion section
The number of hours you hold is tied to your employment level:
2 hours/week for 25%
4 hours/week for 50%

When
Ensure that office hours are not scheduled during lecture.
Coordinate with the instructor and other TAs of the course, try to schedule office hours at different times.
Where
You should hold office hours in the same modality as discussion section
However, if your class is in-person, holding some portion of your office hours via Zoom may be fine—it is always best to check in with the instructor before setting them, though.
You can use your office, or reserve one of the following rooms in the department:
