At some point, you may be asked to proctor an exam during a time when you have a class of your own. The official policy is this: classes technically take priority over proctoring exams. However, if the instructor of record needs you to be a proctor and you are unable to for some reason (excluding those outlined in leaves), it's your responsibility to find someone else to do it. If you can't, contact the Senior TAs in advance.
Most exams policies (e.g., what materials are allowed) are set by the instructor of record.
The university has a pretty comprehensive policy for dealing with cheating on exams (see: Academic Integrity ).
You must keep the final exams for one quarter following the course (this does not include the summer, i.e., final exams from the spring quarter must be kept until the end of the subsequent fall quarter).
Midterms, quizzes, homeworks, and Matlab assignments can all be discarded when the course is done, i.e., when the final grades have been submitted.
These items—exams, quizzes, homework, and so on—must be disposed of seccurely in one of the shred bins in the printer/scanner rooms.
