Liquid waste (carboy): acetone, hexanes, ethyl acetate, and discarded column fractions
Solid waste (cardboard box): glass pipets, column with silica, excess dry silica, used TLC plates, excess CAF, ASP, or ACE, capillary tubes
Wash glassware, put away equipment, and wipe benchtops

GENERAL HAZARDOUS WASTE DISPOSAL:
Waste must be properly labeled, stored, and disposed of in accordance with Federal and State regulations.
Don't dispose of chemicals down the drain.
Don't dispose of chemicals via trash cans.
Don’t use hoods to intentionally evaporate chemicals
Transport the hazardous waste to your designated pick-up location using a sturdy cart and secondary containment.
