Our Eco Code

Our Eco Code is the Mission Statement for our group and has been compiled by a number of students:

1. We are committed to making a long lasting change to UCS’s impact on the environment.

2. We are committed to making the Green Impact Society inclusive for all. It is open to anyone who wants to help make an active change.

3. We are committed to ensuring that everyone’s ideas are validated and welcomed.

4. We are committed to building and strengthening the student’s understanding of their impact on the environment.

5. We are committed to taking active responsibility as a school to lower our carbon footprint, in order to reduce our effects on the climate crisis.

6. We are striving to prepare for any challenge that might await us, being sure to tackle it in the most effective and sustainable way possible.

7. We are committed to sharing the work done by the Green Impact Society and promoting further change which we, as a school community, can be proud of.

8. In the Green Impact Society, we hope to create a stronger sense of community within the wider school, as well as pride for all that we have achieved.
