Current energy projects

The Sixth Form and Transitus are currently in discussions with green energy companies to provide a range of quotes to help transfer the school over to a green energy supplier. More news to follow but exciting progress is being made!

Update: Progress is slower than many of us would have liked, due to the current rise in energy prices in the UK. We are, however, getting closer.

Switch-Off Fortnight - 10% reductions achieved just through changes in the way we use our energy!

In the Autumn term UCS Foundation ran a competition to see which school could reduce their energy consumption the most across a fortnight. Through assemblies and form time each school made a big push to try learning energy saving behaviours. The Junior Branch won the competition by reducing their average energy consumption by 12.75%!!!
