May 28 at 4:30 Book Talk: Teaching Climate Change by Prof. Mark Windschitl
We are pleased to announce that the leadership of the UCI teacher education communities (Doron Zinger at CalTeach, Susan Toma at MAT, and Nicole Gilbertson at Teacher Academy) and myself are co-hosting a book talk, “Teaching Climate Change: Fostering Understanding, Resilience, and A commitment to Justice” featuring with Professor Mark Windschitl at University of Washington, Seattle. Dr. Windschitl, who is the author of Ambitious Science Teaching, recently published a new book to provide a guidance for educators in teaching climate change.
