The Volunteer Café is a webinar series held every two months for 4-H volunteers. It is designed to highlight and share creative and useful ideas from the 4-H community. This series aims to inspire, educate, and unite 4-H volunteers by sharing knowledge between volunteers and staff. 

These webinars are a free resource for 4-H volunteers. Join the live webinars to connect with other volunteers, share your experiences and learn from each other. This is a space for new and long-time volunteers to share ideas, questions, and suggestions with each other.

Outdoor Adventure Clubs

7–8 pm Live via Zoom

Learn about the types of adventure programs offered in Utah 4-H. Our guest presenters are Stacey MacArthur and Cindy Nelson from the Utah 4-H program. They will share things to consider when offering adventure programming and walk through purposes for adventure programming. This session will include discussion time to brainstorm ideas, local resources for adventure programs, and time to practice some of the health and wellness breaks they include in their programs.

Fun with the "M" in STEM

Explore math activities in a hands-on way that can make them fun and exciting. Dive into shapes, Mobius strips,stitching curves, Sierpinski triangles, and the Koch snowflake. You'll get to try out these activities yourself and see how math can be incorporated into your STEM projects in a fun way.

4-H. Fun activities can build connections between leaders and youth and support a feeling of belonging. Together, we will explore different types of group activities that use fun intentionally to foster belonging.

Through our day camp, we helped kids feel good about their ethnic backgrounds. Learn why a positive ethnic identity is important for our youth. Emily Watson will share how their day camp in San Bernardino County started and how it’s going now. The fun and hands-on activities support kids from all backgrounds and can also be used to expand your programming in afterschool clubs.

4-H Community Education Specialist in San Bernardino County. 

Emily is a dedicated 4-H alumni, parent, and volunteer who also serves as 4-H staff. With a background in expanded learning, she has worked with the YMCA and Boys & Girls Club to support youth development programs. As a STEAM advisor and an instructor with The Dibble Institute, Emily is passionate about equipping young people with the skills they need to thrive both academically and personally.
