4-H youth develop leadership skills through both individual and group projects. Even Primary Members have opportunities to learn and practice leadership skills in public speaking, project management, communication, team building, organization and negotiation.
You have the opportunity to connect with other young leaders throughout the state and even in the nation through statewide and national events. Take advantage of the chance to step outside your club and county to connect, share and learn from others like you!
Using a cross-age teaching model, older 4-H youth are teen teachers who facilitate lessons teaching younger youth through hands-on lessons in cooking, science, or mindfulness practices. Contact your county 4-H office if you are interested in these opportunities.
