Pursue professional interests by creating and actively participating in local and global learning networks.

Digital age learners are connected and communicate with purpose. I actively participate in multiple professional learning networks and, like a true digital age learner, I capitalize on these networks to support my continued development as a learner and teacher. Arkansas ATE

The Arkansas Association of Teacher Educators is a network of college professors who meet together digitally and physically to learn and research together. I currently serve on the board of ArATEClick the image to see the ArATE Webpage.

Global

Society for Technology in Teacher Education

This society is one of my go-to networks for learning and continued professional development. I attend their yearly conference and I communicate with other members through social media and their Academic Experts communication channels.

Twitter

Twitter has been a boon for me. Over the years I have participated in many different networks that have connected me to other education leaders. I engage in twitter chats that include educators from around the world. I was also involved in twitter chats that helped develop these standards.

ISTE

I participate in ISTE PLNs including the Teacher Education Network and ISTE communities. I love these connections because participants are from a world wide population that are dedicated to innovative teaching.

AERA

I am a member and participant in the American Educational Research Association. This association is the premier educational research group in the United States.
