UDL is a framework that is near and dear to my heart. I believe that the neuroscience behind UDL is essential to meeting the needs of all learners. As I teach this lesson, I work work to develop a working understanding of learner needs in my students while modeling curriculum and pedagogical design strategies, like flipped classroom and backward design. In this assignment, the students focus on their individual discipline and future lessons as they create a lesson plan with strategies that align with UDL.
