The virtual OSCE exam is scheduled for the last Friday of your rotation and will be conducted via Zoom. During the OSCE, you will be placed in a breakout room with your examiner, who will act as both the examiner and the standardized patient.
You will have 1 minute to enter your breakout room and read the exam stem, which will be shared via screen sharing for each station. You will then have a total of 10 minutes to interact with your patient, during which you can ask and answer questions.
You will receive your OSCE schedule at least one week prior to the exam, detailing your time slot, the time you are expected to join the Zoom meeting, and when your examination will conclude.
At the end of each cohort, please do not leave the Zoom meeting until you have been officially released.
OSCE stations will be a combination of 3 of the following stations:
1st Prenatal Visit
Abnormal Uterine Bleeding
Ectopic Pregnancy
Fertility
Incontinence
Menopause
Oral Contraceptive Pills (OCP)
Preeclampsia
Pre-term Pre-labour Rupture of Membranes (PPROM)

*Note that the date of your OSCE may change due to holidays or professional development activities. This will be communicated to you with advanced notice.
