The University of Alberta Hospital, Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute, and CK Hui Heart Centre are Academic Cardiac Care Centres in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Since its inception over twenty years ago, our program has been providing care to patients from Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and the interior of British Columbia.
Our team is currently comprised of 5 interventional cardiologists at the Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute and 6 interventional cardiologists at the CK Hui Heart Centre. In addition to an extremely active clinical program, a wide range of basic science and clinical research is performed, including acute coronary syndrome and interventional trials.
We offer a two-year fully accredited Royal College of Canada Area of Focused Competence (AFC) Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology. The successful candidate will spend the majority of their time working with the interventional cardiology faculty in the cardiac catheterization labs at both the Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute and the CK Hui Heart Centre.
