*Applications will be reviewed and offers can be made on a rolling basis.  Interviews will start in November and earliest offers would be by December (1.5 years pre-fellowship), with applications accepted up until the March 31st deadline (if spots are still available)

INTERNATIONAL SPONSORED APPLICANTS

Applicants sponsored by any of the following entities, please have your sponsor submit application documents directly to the Postgraduate Medical Education office email: pgspon@ualberta.ca and CC: cardiology.fellowships@ualberta.ca.

FUNDING

Applicants must indicate their funding status on the online application form. International trainees are required to be eligible for licensure in the Province of Alberta OR must have secured institutional or government funding. The minimum salary recommended by our Postgraduate Office is $60K Cdn/year. Fellowship trainees without their own institutional funding must perform clinical service to offset salary (which may include regular ECG reading, and a small commitment to inpatient ward service and daytime emergency consultation). The Heart Failure & Cardiac Transplant program has limited competitive funding that may be accessible to international trainees.
