There are many factors feeding into this stress, but regardless of what these are, the results of this stress can have negative impacts. All educators have a responsibility to themselves and to those they serve, to build and cultivate their own resilience practices on a daily, weekly, monthly basis.
Resilience is not a luxury. It is not something we should consider as fluff, extra, or optional. It is a vital and necessary practice that every educator needs to infuse into their personal and professional lives. We recognize and support this necessity and strive to work throughout the year to cultivate and build resilience routines and practices as a department.
