We strive to provide schoolwide social emotional learning (SEL) in the classroom. Using various curricula and materials with each grade level, we teach empathy, emotion management, and problem-solving skills.
Second STEP is a social emotional curriculum designed to teach students skills for everyday success.
This year, all our students (TK - 5th), are participating in Second STEP lessons in their classrooms.

Start with Hello seeks to address loneliness and promote a sense of connectedness. Students are taught 1) See someone alone, 2) Reach out and help, 3) Say hello.
Zones of Regulation teaches students how to recognize and manage their emotions, categorizing them into four different color zones.
