There are two ways a user can register a new organization in the Connected Forest®:
Registration with a Trimble invitation
Registration without a Trimble invitation
Another organization can invite you to join them in the Connected Forest®, in which case you will receive a Trimble invitation email to start the Registration Wizard. Registration using a Trimble invitation gives your organization a trial subscription to the application you have been invited to use, and the subscription is valid for one month. Only a single trial subscription is provided and automatically assigned to the invited user.
A trial subscription gives access to a fully functional app. It is recommended to use real data when configuring and testing the app for your organization. If you subsequently decide to purchase subscriptions, the same environment (data and configuration) will be used.
During registration, an organization can be identified as one or several organization types. This dictates the functionality that is available within some apps.
To register a new organization account from a Trimble invitation email:
Once you have received the invitation, select the click here link in the invitation email and accept the invitation in one of the following ways:
If you are a new user, set up a new Trimble account on the Create Account page by entering the requested details (for example, First Name, Last Name, and Email). You will also be asked to accept the License Agreement. We recommend reading the License Agreement carefully before accepting it.
If you already have a Trimble account, sign in to your account on the Sign In page by entering your account credentials.
After successful sign-in or account creation, you are redirected to the Registration Wizard.
On the Welcome page, make sure you understand the registration process description and click NEXT.
The page shows a description of the application that you are invited to use.
If you already have an account and are part of some other organization in the Connected Forest®, you are asked to select from the following options:
Select the Select Existing Organization option if you do not want to create a new organization, then choose the desired organization from the dropdown, and click FINISH to complete the registration process. In this case, no trial subscriptions are assigned to you.

If the organization name that is entered or automatically prefilled already exists in the Connected Forest®, the next step depends on your email address:
If your email address domain is valid and already present in the existing organization, you will be added to that organization, and a trial subscription will be assigned to you.
If your email address is invalid, you will be prompted to verify it. When you click the Send Email button, a notification email is sent to the organization admin to verify your email address and add it to the organization. In this case, no further action is required from you.
After successful registration, a confirmation page displays, and you will be redirected to the sign-in page to start using the application.
Your trial subscription is automatically activated. The validity period of the trial subscription starts from the activation date. After the activation, the app icon on the Apps page updates to show how many days you have left on your trial.
After the trial, you can purchase subscription(s) for the time period and number of users you require using the Subscriptions page in the app. The subscription purchase process is explained on the Subscriptions page.
You can set up a new account for your organization by clicking the SIGN UP button on the Forestry solutions website. Registration gives your organization a trial subscription to certain apps that is valid for one month. A trial subscription includes subscriptions for up to three users: the administrator who completes the registration is assigned the first subscription and if applicable can assign the remaining two subscriptions to other users on the User Administration > Subscriptions page. For more information on assigning subscriptions, see Subscriptions.
