Once you have successfully signed in, the Apps page displays. This is the SSO landing page that shows the different Connected Forest® apps as clickable cards.
This page explains how to navigate the page and work with app cards.
The blue title bar at the top of the page includes the following tools.
Notifications
Help
User Profile
Notifications - Opens the menu options for the F1 Notifications app that can be used to browse and manage notifications from Trimble apps and the Trimble system. The yellow number icon shows how many unread messages you have. This icon only shows when you are on the Apps page. For more information, see Notifications.
Help - Opens a menu with options for help and support. Using this menu, you can access the SSO Online Help or open a form to contact Support. The contact information on the Contact Support page is specific to your region. For some regions, you can also access the Trimble Forestry Support Portal where you can search our knowledgebase for answers to your question/problem, view existing support cases for your organization, or submit a new support case.
User Profile - Opens a menu with options related to your user profile. For more information, see User Profile Options.
The Apps page shows apps as cards. You can navigate to any app to which you have access by clicking the app card.
By default, the Apps page only shows cards for those apps for which you have an active subscription. To view all apps, deselect the Show only my apps option at the top of the page. Deselecting this option displays all app cards for the duration of your session; when you sign out, the Show only my apps option becomes enabled again.
Note: All app cards are always visible to users with the Trimble Viewer or Trimble Support user role.
The User Administration app card is shown only for Organization Administrators. This app can be used to manage organization data, user accounts, and app subscriptions.
The following tools are available on the app cards:
Info
Favorite app
No subscription
Info - Provides more information about a particular app. Clicking this button opens an informational web page in a new tab.
Favorite app - Can be used to select a favorite app that opens when you sign in. For more information, see Selecting Your Favorite App below.
No subscription - The lock icon is shown for apps to which you do not have a valid subscription. For more information on how to subscribe to an app, see Subscribing to an App below.
You can set an app as a favorite by clicking on the Favorite ☆ (star) button on the app card. After you set a favorite app, that app automatically opens when you sign in and the Apps page is no longer displayed.
You can undo the favorite selection on the Apps page by clicking the favorite icon again.
To access the Apps page after setting an app as your favorite, you can always click the Apps icon on the title bar and select MORE.
You can only access the apps for which you have a valid subscription. By default, the Apps page only shows the apps for which you have a subscription, but if you deselect the Show only my apps option, the Apps page displays all available apps. This enables you to request a subscription to an app. The lock icon on the app card indicates that you do not currently have a subscription for that app.
If you are an Administrator and do not have a subscription to an app, you can click the Subscribe now link at the bottom of the app card to subscribe to the app. Clicking this link opens the Subscriptions page in the User Administration app, where you can purchase new subscriptions and assign existing subscriptions.
If you are a regular Application User and do not have a subscription to an app, you can click the Request access to this app link at the bottom of the app card. Clicking this link sends an email to your Administrator to assign a subscription for you.
