We are thrilled to announce that on April 1st, our school will be celebrating Leadership Day, a special occasion dedicated to recognizing students' contributions and encouraging leadership within our community.

IDEALS badges will be awarded to students who have demonstrated excellence in different areas of school extracurriculars.
Rest of the Day – Role Swap! - Middle School and High school
Teachers: Enjoy a Mufti Day—dress casually like students (no uniform required)!
Students: Step into the role of teachers! You will be leading lessons and experiencing education from the teacher’s perspective. To make the swap even more fun, students should dress as teachers, embracing a professional or semi-formal look.
This is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate leadership, creativity, and teamwork while gaining new perspectives on education. We encourage everyone to fully embrace the swap and have fun with the experience!

Dear UP, MS and HS students,
This is a 10 week opportunity for you to prove your leadership behaviours. We encourage you all to share best practices regarding situations when you apply the 7 Habits of effective teens, effective practices or the core paradigms. Your stories will be promoted, your behaviours will inspire other students in our community.
By modeling leadership behaviours and sharing with us for the whole 10 weeks timeframe, you will receive a leadership achievement and also points for your house. There will also be a reward for the winning house.
So, are you engaged? Are you ready?

This month, the Student Lighthouse teams are focused on student led service projects.
MS lighthouse team is organizing the Winter Bazaar. Aim: fundraise for the elders in Mount Cacovei. The team will visit them and bring food supplies for Christmas, along with hope and connection.

This will be a school activity open to everyone, including teachers, regardless of whether you've decided to join the club or simply want to try something new.

Our High School Student Lighthouse gathered on Friday, September 14th, for their first training this school year.
They had connection activities, assigned the leadership roles within the team and they also worked hard planning their leadership calendar. They started creating the action plans for the student led projects and are preparing a leadership fair so that to promote their initiatives and recruit new members in their action teams.
The Middle School Lighthouse team is formed of students from Year 7 - Grade 6, Year 8 - Grade 7, last years members who are now in Foundation High School (Year 9 - Grade 8)with the role of mentoring theyr younger colleagues to in becoming the new generations of leaders.
Also Year 6 - Grade 5 are invited to participate sometimes, as they are in their last year of primary, transitioning to middle school.
The Lighthouse team is a group of students who are committed to serving our school, voice the opinions and needs of the students, while developing their leadership skills.
They will open leadership positions for various action teams.
MS Lighthouse teacher coordinator is Miss Alexandra Oană:
The Primary Students Lighthouse Team is formed of students in Upper Primary. Their role is to voice student needs and to come with initiatives that would support the school and the students best interest. They have regular meetings, in which they discuss ideas, propose solutions and plan the implementation. They will open leadership positions for various action teams.
