iTEC is an authorized training organization in the Sultanate of Oman, imparting training in Information Technologies covering technology concepts, Live Project Exposure, and Hands-On and On-the-Job Training. Focused on Skills and Talent Development, iTEC's mission is to establish a robust mechanism for converting fresh graduates into job-ready candidates, with a vision to be recognized as a partner who delivers results and adds value to individuals and organizations through assessment, leadership development, and training. With over 250 candidates trained, 180 candidates placed, and 5+ companies actively hiring from their network, iTEC has established a strong track record of outcomes-focused technology education in the Sultanate of Oman, serving clients including PDO, Ministry of Health, and other leading Omani organizations.
Curriculum Coverage
TOOOPLE delivered a comprehensive and wide-ranging curriculum across iTEC's training programs covering both foundational and advanced technology domains. Core topics included Introduction to Telecom Network Management, Introduction to Computer Programming, Workplace Ethics and Awareness, Critical Reading, Introduction to Mobile Application Development, Microsoft Excel Basics, ITIL Foundation V4 Awareness, Teamwork and Collaboration, Stress Management, Workplace Ergonomics, Fundamentals of Microsoft, Basics of Enterprise Information Systems, Fundamentals of Telecom Networking, Internet Security, JavaScript Basics, Basic Computer Operations, Fundamentals of Fraud Management, and Fundamentals of Telecom Technology. Advanced and emerging technology topics covered included Introduction to Artificial Intelligence, Fundamentals of R Programming, Principles of Business Analytics, Introduction to Big Data Hadoop, Basics of Inter-networking Technology, Introduction to Computer Applications in Business, Programming with Visual Basics, and Introduction to Unix/Linux. In addition, TOOOPLE delivered several sessions on trending technologies, ensuring participants remained current with the rapidly evolving global technology landscape and were equipped with both the depth and breadth required to succeed in competitive industry environments.
Tower to Career: Building Oman's Job-Ready Tech Workforce
TOOOPLE partnered with iTEC to support their structured technology training curriculum across four specialized towers, delivering in-depth training mapped to industry-recognized certifications. The program was designed to progressively build technical depth across distinct technology domains, with each monthly cohort focused on a dedicated tower:
Help Desk Tower: Training aligned to the ITIL framework, equipping participants with globally recognised IT service management standards and help desk operations best practices.
Applications Tower: Hands-on Angular development training, building front-end application development capabilities directly relevant to industry project environments.
Telecom Tower: CCNA-aligned training covering networking fundamentals and telecommunications infrastructure — critical skills for Oman's growing digital economy.
PM, BA and .NET Tower: Training aligned to PMP standards for Project Management and Business Analysis, combined with .NET development skills — preparing participants for multi-dimensional roles in technology delivery teams.
