TOOOPLE's Programs
TOOOPLE offers two interconnected certification programs under the NOCN (UK) framework:
1. Applied Project Development (APD)
APD is a hands-on, project-based learning program where students work on real-world problems guided by certified mentors. It is discipline-independent, designed for graduates across all specialisations.
The program consists of three progressive units completed over 12–15 weeks:
Unit 100 – Project Research & Initiation (3–5 weeks): Students research their project topic, document the problem, articulate it in a project context, and define success criteria.
Unit 200 – Project Development Lifecycle (8–10 weeks): Students develop a Statement of Work and deliver the project build, supported by 20 hours of technology training.
Unit 300 – Project Reflection (1–2 weeks): Students review execution impact, consolidate project learning, and submit peer evaluations.
Certification awarded: Foundation Certificate and Advanced Certificate in Applied Project Development (NOCN Accredited).
Assessment is graded across Project Documentation (60%), Project Presentation (30%), and Peer Evaluation (10%), with grades ranging from Pass to High Distinction.
2. Mentoring Projects for Impact (MPI)
MPI trains and certifies faculty members and industry professionals as project mentors, equipping them to guide students through the APD program to NOCN standards.
The program includes two core units:
Unit 400 – Purposeful and Effective Mentoring (24 hours): Covers the philosophy, purpose, and practice of mentoring. Participants develop a personal mentoring manifesto, establish goals, define their mentor profile, and build active listening and feedback skills. Assessment comprises online quizzes and short answers (80%) and a presentation with commitment pledge (20%).
Unit 500 – Mentoring Practicum (ongoing alongside APD): Mentors apply their Unit 400 learning in practice by guiding students through Units 100, 200, and 300, accumulating structured engagement hours across all three student units.
Certification awarded: Foundation (TOOOPLE Award), Professional (NOCN Award), and Master (NOCN Award) Certificates in Mentoring Projects for Impact.
