Lessons & Activities

Grade 1 & 2 Curriculum Aligned Activities

Click here to see great coding ideas shared by other educators that align with the 2020 Math Curriculum Expectations.

ScratchJR Challenges

Please refer to our Coding Challenges - ScratchJR Challenges that we've created. With the challenges, we guide students from becoming a brand new coder to more sophisticated coding that includes nesting/looping, and efficient coding.

Assessment Options

Unless you are using tablets, such as iPads, there is no way that students can submit a project to you. There is, however, a work-around for this. You can have students use Screencastify to record their project and share via Google Classroom or Google Drive. You could also have students share their screens when in a Google Meet so that you can their projects in action as well.
