This new version of MakeCode Arcade, Skillmap, helps walk students through tutorials to learn coding fundamentals, such as loops, variables, and conditionals. They will also learn game development skills: design, storytelling, rules and end conditions as they create retro-style arcade games.

At the end of each path's end, students will receive certificates and confetti as a reward for a job well done.

When students have had some time using MakeCode arcade, you may want to direct them to these Challenges to have fun with what they learned.
