A. Introduction
Korea peninsula is boundaries with China on the north, and boundaries by sea on the south, east and west. And Japan is on the east. After Second World War and civil war, 38th parallel are marking the boundary between North and South Korea. South Korea named itself the Republic of Korea. Population is about 48 million. Republic government. Economy and industrial are good. 48.2% of the population are Christian, 48.8% are Buddhist, and 0.8% is Confucian.
B. The development of the True Jesus Church
The Korean Churches were started by a Korean named Bae (Yang Do). In July 1941, while working in Japan, he sought for the Truth, received the Holy Spirit, and was later baptised. In April 1943, another Korean named Jung (Wee-Jin) also accepted the Truth while in Japan. After Bae return to Korea in January 1945, he led some 30 members of the Presbyterian Church to believe in the Lord. In August 1948, the first True Jesus Church was established in Korea. Two more churches were established within the same year. The first National Delegates Conference was held in April 1950 in Hangkuk and later the Korean GA was formed.
