Resolution:
The period of the Sabbath is from the sunset of Friday to the sunset of Saturday.
III. The View On “Changing The Current Name Of Our Church Based On The Bible”
Resolution:
The name of the church is the “True Jesus Church.” It cannot be changed.
IV. The One True Church
Resolution:
Our church is the only true church of salvation.
Regarding the passage in Rev 19:11-16, the explanation of the name—True Jesus Church—is for reference only.
V. After Receiving Water Baptism, Can a Believer Maintain a Polygamous Relationship?
Resolution:
According to the teachings of the Bible, marriage should be monogamous, and this is the moral principle (Mk 10:6-8).
The person, who is in a polygamous relationship, can maintain one’s existing marital status after receiving water baptism (1 Cor 7:10-20).
The person can only be ordained if he is the husband of only one wife (1 Tim 3:2; Titus 1:6).
VI. The View on Whether God Can be Addressed As “Jehovah”
Resolution:
Addressing ‟Jehovah” does not constitute a sin of taking God’s name in vain. (2003)
We request the USGA to reconsider their resolution on the issue of addressing Jehovah so that it is in accordance with the IA’s resolution. (2003)
