As we come to the end of this week and the end of the school year, it is a time to reflect on all of the wonderful things which have taken place this academic year. There are too many to mention but some stand out favourites for me have been: oracy endpoints, class assemblies, create and learn events, productions and working with your amazing children!
This week Year 6 have been centre stage with the leavers assembly and party yesterday and Tithe Farm annual awards today. We will be sad to see them move on to secondary school but we know they are ready for the next step in their learning journey.
I would like to thank all families for their support this year, a lot of what we do in school is not possible without you. Thank-you also from myself and my colleagues for all of your very kind gifts. They have been very thoughtful and much appreciated.
We hope that all of our families have a restful holiday and look forward to seeing you on 4th September for more learning and fun.
Congratulations to our award winnings:
Daria - Tithe Farm Way Award
Orgesa - Inclusive Citizen Award
Manhoor - Intelligent Talker Award
Fortress - Insatiable Reader Award
Gouri - Impeccably Behaved Award
Taiwo - Most Improved Reader
Attendance has been higher this academic year than last year. We have maintained 94% attendance over the academic year which is amazing. I hope we can hit 96% attendance next year.
Today we gave out awards for 100% attendance both for this term and for the whole year. This is a brilliant achievement and one which should be celebrated.
We also drew our attendance raffle. Every child who was in school on raffle ticket day will have been in the draw and prizes were given to those who were picked out.
