It has been a fantastic start to the summer term with a real sense of purpose around school. In assembly on Tuesday we reminded ourselves about what Wonderful Walking looks like; how we use team stop; and how to be ready in assembly. I am sure that if you ask your children they will be able to show you what they look like in practice. These small routines help to ensure that the children are ready for their learning and safe moving around school.
There are lots of events taking place this term, please keep an eye on the school calendar and communication from the school to ensure that you do not miss anything!
This week we have sent a link to a family survey - we would appreciate you taking a few minutes to complete this so that we look at how we can continue to make Tithe Farm the best it can be. Please use this link: https://forms.gle/d71wJYWQ36PBkoVS6
Before Easter, we carried out our recruitment for a new Deputy Headteacher. I am pleased to announce that we have recruited Miss Lubbock who will be joining us in September.
We would like to extend a warm welcome to our September 2026 Reception cohort and their families. We are very excited to meet you and support your children on their Tithe Farm journey.
Further information about our welcome meeting, transition etc will be shared with families over the coming weeks.
A reminder that children must not use mobile phones anywhere on the school premises. This rule applies as soon as pupils enter the school perimeter, including the car park and the area by the Neighbourhood Centre. Phones should be switched off and kept in bags or coat pockets until they can be handed in to a member of staff.
This expectation is in place to ensure that pupils are engaging positively with one another and making the most of their time in school. We want students to be socialising with their friends, speaking to each other face-to-face, and building positive relationships, rather than making TikToks or messaging people who are standing next to them.
A number of Year 6 children have decided to get around this rule, they will stand on the pavement outside school. Please speak with your children and ask them not to do this - it blocks the path for pedestrians and makes it particularly difficult for those with pushchairs or wheelchairs.
